Leonida, panel by panel

What the GTA VI cover actually shows

A camera roll, not a poster

Grand Theft Auto VI sells a place before it sells a plot. Lucia and Jason sit in the middle of a wall of Florida snapshots: strip signage, wet asphalt, boat wake, swamp light, a beach crowd shot on a phone rather than by a photographer. Little of it is framed like promotional art, which is why the grid suits an ordinary camera roll.

The frame colour is the giveaway. VI's gutters and border are mixed at #180024, a deep aubergine, where every other cover here sits on near neutral black. Against pink and orange photographs it reads violet, which is much of why the collage feels like night in Leonida specifically.

Only the outside edge is straight

Inside the border nothing lines up. The divider under the top row is not one line: it starts 231 px down at the left edge, sinks to 272 a third of the way across, then climbs to 192 at the right, so the top row is a shallow V rather than a band. The two verticals in it splay apart, one leaning left about 2 degrees, the next right about 5.

One panel has six corners instead of four. It comes in from the right edge, crosses the middle and steps down so the bottom right tile wedges under it. At better than a quarter of the total area it is the biggest tile in any of these grids, and its top edge climbs 74 px across the run.

Picking photos for the GTA VI grid

Hero shot in the stepped panel

The six sided tile is over a quarter of the cover. Give it the photo you would set as a wallpaper and let the corner tiles carry detail.

Mind the climbing top edge

That 74 px rise trims heads placed high in the panel. Zoom until faces clear it instead of accepting the first fit.

Feed the violet frame

Aubergine gutters flatten muted photos. Saturated pink, orange and turquoise hold their own beside them. Grey and beige do not.

GTA 6 cover maker questions

How many panels does the GTA 6 cover have?

Nine. One of them has six corners rather than four and covers more than a quarter of the whole cover, which is why it works best as the hero photo.

When does GTA 6 come out?

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for 19 November 2026. The grid here is traced from the box art that has already been announced, so the cover you build now will still match at launch.

Is the GTA 6 cover maker free?

Yes. It is free with no account, no sign up, no watermark and no paid tier.

Are my photos uploaded when I make a GTA 6 cover?

No. Every photo is drawn into a canvas in your own browser and never reaches a server.

What resolution does the GTA 6 cover maker export?

1666 by 1920 pixels, as PNG, JPEG or WebP. That is large enough for a phone wallpaper, a social post or a small print.

Can I remove the GTA VI logo from my cover?

Yes. The controls panel has an Original GTA VI logo checkbox, so you can turn the wordmark off before you export.

Can I change the thickness of the frame?

No, and that is deliberate. The inner line and outer border colours are editable, but the widths are fixed to the measurements of the real cover so your collage keeps the proportions of the printed box art.

Is this the official Rockstar GTA 6 cover maker?

No. It is an independent fan tool with no affiliation to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto and GTA are trademarks of their respective owners.
